There are times when we all need a little bit of help, perhaps with figuring out a particular issue in our lives, or with making a decision. There are also times when we simply need someone to listen to us and to take our concerns serious. This can sometimes be more than our friends and family are able to provide and in such times, a counsellor or coach can be immensely beneficial.
Both will provide a safe environment for you to share your experiences and explore your feelings. They will actively listen to you in a non-judgemental way and gently ask question to encourage you discover the cause of your issues. While a counsellor will look more closely at how past experiences may have shaped the experiences you are having in the present, a coach will look to the future and help you determine what changes can be made in the present in order to achieve positive results in the future.
At Cue Counselling & Coaching we offer both techniques as we feel that both are equally important. We also offer an integrative approach using a combination of both methods. Not only can past experiences can weigh you down and influence how you behave in the present, they can also influence and shape the goals you set for the future.
